Message from AGC President:
On behalf of all ConE Student Organizations, we hope that you are all off to a great start this semester and excited to get involved. To help further promote that excitement, and the great year ahead of us in the Construction Engineering Department, AGC, DBIA, MCA, NAHB, & NECA will be holding THE FIRST GRILL-OUT of the year! The social will take place tomorrow (Thursday, September 1) @ 6:00 PM at Brookside Park (1325 6th St. Ames, IA 50010). This event is a great way to gain attendance points for multiple ConE Student Organizations, while getting to enjoy FREE food with great people. Please come out to meet new students to construction engineering, catch up with friends, and learn more about ConE clubs and activities.
LEARNING COMMUNITY STUDENTS – With the grill-out conveniently starting at the conclusion of class tomorrow, a few peer mentors will be taking the #2 Green East CyRide directly from Carver. We encourage you all to tag along for some free food after class and to come get involved with a few of the great opportunities offered within the Construction Engineering Department here at Iowa State.
