CARC participating in CQ WorldWide WPX Contest (March 29,2024)
Similar to the event in 2022, CARC is continuing the tradition of participating in the CQ WorldWide WPX Contest. Making contacts from people all over the world such as Canada, Russia, Ireland, and many more. A perfect way to get used to making contacts and forming proper radio etiquette.
CARC And HABET Balloon Launch (March 23, 2024)
CARC had the opportunity to work together with HABET club, in order to Launch a Balloon payload on Saturday, March 23, 2022. Giving the opportunity to allowing us to use their balloon to send up a simplex repeater.
A member of ours went along with than HABET recovery team to retrieve the payload the balloon had carried, including the radio!
CARC Participates in Contesting (March 26, 2022)
CARC participated in the CQ World Wide WPX Single Side Band Contest on March 26, 2022, as WØISU. Many members were able to have their first HF radio contact and try contesting.
