National Service Trips

Spring Break 2018 – Lawton, Oklahoma

Over Spring break of 2018, 35 students from the ISU AGC Student Chapter volunteered over 1,850 hours of community service to complete 5 roofing projects, along with miscellaneous interior work in each.  We hit a few bumps on the way home but overall, we made the absolute most out of the trip.  Everyone was excited to help out these families and many students are showing interest in our next break trips.

Thanksgiving Break 2017 – Crawley, West Virginia

Over thanksgiving break of 2017, 50 students from the ISU AGC Student Chapter volunteered over 2,100 hours over the course of five days in Crawley, WV.  This trip could not have been possible without all of our sponsors.  We took five vans and two trucks to haul two trailers (one belong to ISU AGC and the other ISU NAHB) which were filled with tools, supplies, and luggage.  Companies including Neumann Brothers, Hawkins, Traylor Brothers, and JE Dunn sponsored vehicles for all of these students to be able to volunteer their time to help those who were recently affected by floods. The pictures below show us throughout this trip enjoying service to those in need and spending time together as a group.
