Spring Break 2017 – Charleston, South Carolina

Over spring break of 2017, 36 students from the ISU AGC Student Chapter volunteered over X hours over the course of five days in Charleston, South Carolina.  These students worked on many projects ranging from painting to roofing to demolition.  We worked very hard on 9 projects throughout the course of our time there, and finished all of them on time.  The pictures below show our time in South Carolina performing various service activities along with enjoying our short time on the beach in Charleston.

Thanksgiving Break 2016 – Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Over thanksgiving break of 2016, 39 students from the ISU AGC Student Chapter volunteered over 1,165 hours over the course of four days in New Orleans, Louisiana.  This trip could not have been possible without all of our sponsors.  We took four suburbans and two trucks to haul two trailers (one belong to ISU AGC and the other ISU NAHB) which were filled with tools, supplies, and luggage.  Companies including DPR, Bowen, JE Dunn, Henning-Paric, and Hawkins sponsored vehicles for all of these students to be able to volunteer their time to help those who were recently affected by floods.  Other companies donated meals and material for the homes including Boldt, McCown Gordon, Cedar Valley, Harold Pike, Absolute Concrete, Manatts, PCI, Burns & McDonnell, Cramer & Associates, Black and Veatch, and Baker Electric.  The pictures below show us throughout this trip enjoying service to those in need and spending time together as a group.
