For the month of February we will be having the second general meeting on Tuesday, February 16th. Lucas Baxter from Baker Electric will be attending. Baker Electric is an electrical contractor from Des Moines. At the meeting there will be food and drinks provided.
Also, on March 1st NECA and MCA will be hosting the MEP Career Fair. This will take place in the Howe Atrium from 5-7 pm. There will be around 20 employers looking to fill full time and intern positions. This is a great opportunity to talk to employers in a more relaxed environment.
NECA will also be touring the Iowa State Power Plant on February 24th at 6pm. There will be Buffalo Wild Wings served during a meeting prior to going on the walking tour.
