Company Visits,

Building A Community

We organize company visits, actively participate in national conventions, facilitate enriching career workshops, provide study tables for academic support, and volunteer our time for the betterment of the community.

Our Chapter

The student chapter of The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) at Iowa State University was chartered in the 1980s due to strong student interest in promoting the national organization’s goals on campus. Since then, the Iowa State chapter has become a strong organization on campus, with members receiving recognition both in the ISU College of Engineering and beyond. We’ve had numerous students and alums serve in regional and national leadership positions,  including National Chair. The Iowa State Chapter is located in Region V of the Missouri Zone and is currently compromised of 70 students in STEM majors.
