Since February 2011, Rockwell Collins has been providing engineering and monetary support to AirPad. Without the support of Rockwell Collins none of this would be possible.

Engineering Student Council (ESC)

The funding obtained from ESC goes directly into improving AirPad’s outreach program. With their help, we’ve been able to grow in the local community of Ames as well as in the state of Iowa. ESC also provides funds for the necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that ensures the safety of our members.

Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE)

Since the beginning of AirPad, we have demonstrated a strong tie to the agricultural world by creating UAVs for farmers to improve their crop yields. Thanks to the new affiliation with the ABE Department, AirPad has an even stronger agricultural backing through professors and student organizations.
