Today, we struggled with attaching our right side wing. Unfortunately, the wing spar does not connect to the center spar properly. Needless to say, this was a frustrating part of the night for the club. We can see the finish line, and unless we are able to fix this, we may not be able to complete our project.
In order to fix the problem, we have two options
- We can rip out the center spar in the fuselage and fix that
- We can open the wing up (again), and repair the spar.
As you can see, neither of these are very good options. Let’s hope when we meet tomorrow that our fix works.
