The Society of International Engineers (also referred to as SIE) is a group of Engineering students at Iowa State University. Our mission statement is to make the world a smaller place through cultural connections. We pledge to build a strong community of international engineers through studying abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three main goals of SIE are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. To promote study abroad for ISU students<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. To welcome ISU students back from studying abroad<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. To welcome international students to the beautiful Iowa State University Campus and Ames community.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    Hi everyone! My name is Octavia, and I’m a Senior studying Industrial Engineering and German LCP. I studied abroad in Aachen, Germany during the Summer of 2023. My favorite thing about SIE is getting to meet so many students with different study abroad experiences.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/td>\n
