2020-2021

President: Andrew Ruba
Area of Study: Polymers and Metals
Why do I love MA? I love MA because of the opportunities it provides to our materials engineering students. From enabling students to travel across the country for conferences (which are usually FREE, by the way) to talking with local kids about STEM, being involved in MA is a unique and rewarding experience.

Why do I love MA? MA is a unique way to get to know other people in materials engineering, as well as providing various ways to learn more about our major and what our future careers can look like.

Historian: Onel Valdez
Area of Study: Metals
Why do I love MA?  At an early age, materials piqued my interest. How they interact with each other, in different conditions, and how we can use that information to improve our lives. MA is a great resource to connect with like-minded peers in an academic and social environment.
