Please check back for future updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-9757e33e-ce23-418f-bf23-ea5ec1a26296\"><strong>The ISU GoFly Team is creating&nbsp;a personal flying device!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-9ff00635-f8e2-4c72-80e6-6d662e697c79\">ISU GoFly is an engineering club tasked with designing a personal flying device that is safe, compact, and sustainable. The goal is to create a personal flying device by the Spring of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-f6091167-1516-4cd7-be08-40e025af4cfd\"><strong>Current Demonstrator Aircraft:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-2a367b8d-08af-463b-b63c-de3e7d0fdaff\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stuorgs.engineering.iastate.edu\/aiaa\/files\/2018\/11\/iso_render2_fullcrop.jpg?ssl=1\" alt=\"This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is iso_render2_fullcrop.jpg\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">A rendering of the S.S. (Small-Scale) Demonstrator<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-42ecb060-3ebb-43bb-9710-0fe085bba9d2\">In the 2018-2019 school year, we refined our aircraft and designed a demonstrator (shown above) for testing purposes. It&#8217;s also cheaper &amp; easier to start smaller before going full scale. We are recruiting passionate &amp; dedicated students! You will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience with a new and exciting engineering team.
