The listing on the homepage is set up to use your privacy settings.

To change this you must be an administrator of your site. Go into the back end and go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Reading’. There you will find the privacy settings for your site.

To have your site show up on the homepage make sure the option for “Search Engine Visibility” is not checked to have your site displayed on the homepage. This will help search engines and anybody who hits the homepage to easily find you.

It works both ways, if you don’t want your site on the homepage check ‘Discourage search engines from indexing this site’ and poof, off the homepage.
